Default A/C Compressor noisy

Hello my dear fellows,

everytime I turn on the air conditioning on my Panamera s e-hybrid, the compressor makes this noisy for about 20-30seconds.

Does yours do the same?

Best regards

No absolutely not. That definitely sounds like a cooling fan or the compressor itself is on its way out. The e-hybrid uses an electric A/C compressor instead of a belt driven one so is possible it could sound like that.

I can't match your sound to mine from memory, but on a hot (90+) day, in E mode, when I start up the car it sounds even louder than the ICE engine. '22 P4E. It always has a sort of electric motor sound but this is 10 times louder. I feel like it is some sort of supercooling for the battery? After a minute or so it goes back to normal sounds. This is all in electric. I was just about to post to ask if anyone knew what that noise was. If I had to guess, the sound is close to what you posted.
