Default FVD Brombacher | Part Focus | 970 Turbo and 970 Turbo S | FVD Billet Diverter Valve

The FVD Diverter Valve is a German made direct replacement for the OEM diaphragmed valve or for poor quality aftermarket ones that leak, causing boost fluctuations. Our valve is a piston type valve that we insist on having reinforced at the vacuum port and on the piston seal. Our reinforced valve will prevent boost leaks and will recover more quickly for better boost and throttle response.

Features:
Piston Type Diverter Valve
Precision Machined and Manufactured in Germany
Reinforced and Polished Piston
Machined Aluminum Body
High Pressure Tested Vacuum Port
Angled and Rotatable Vacuum Port for Simple Installation
Valve is Shipped with 15-25 PSI (1-1.7 Bar) Spring
Includes Clamps and Ties

Why replace the OEM Diverter valve with an FVD Diverter Valve? Under higher boost pressures associated with a tuned car, the OEM valve can start to leak via the rubber diaphragm. Also, we have seen instances where the plastic cover can lift off the sealing face as the internal spring's resistance is exceeded. This causes boost fluctuations and boost pressure loss.

The FVD diverter valve is precision machined of billet aluminum in Germany. It includes a high pressure reinforced vacuum port manufactured in Germany. We also have the piston seal reinforced via a stepped 5 to 10 mm O-ring so that pressure loss is completely ruled out.

Sold individually. 2 are required.

Looking forward to that info as well.

Have any 970 PTT owners out there, used and noticed a difference with these diverters?

Rhonda,
I installed the recently purchased DVs and what a difference! The OEM valves were surely weak and leaking, though I also have a tune on the car. So, in all, very pleased.
Easy to install and now the car builds immediate boost up to the shift point.

Rick
