Malfunctioning Tach on 971
Hello,
I have seen previously issues with tachometers sticking or not displaying the RPM correctly in various Porsche models including Panameras.
My '17 971 currently has the tach all over the place ranging from sitting at 5k on idle to 0 at 75mph.
The dealer has been dodging my calls and not returning them for a few days. This should be CPO warranty work but they have a bad history with my car (managed to damage/ hit my rear bumper while in service).
Most likely they don't have a loaner and/ or the cluster is a backorder item.
Has anyone else had experience with tach issues and how was it resolved?
