Default 2012 Panamera Turbo p0068 code

Hello folks! I am inquiring about a friend's Panamera I am looking at. Has a lonely code p0068 - for map/maf throttle position correlation. I found 2 or 3 threads on here for a N/A car. They appear to have no resolve or not follow up. I am going to use my Smoke Pro smoke tester first. If anyone has any insight to help me in a direction or has past experience, that would be much appreciated! -John

I suggest to check one-way valve for oil-gas separator,it should leak from turbocharger.Particularly for the lonely code P0068.

I got the same code during a very hot day with a lot of stop start driving, cleared it, 5,000 miles and it hasn’t returned.

Wanted to confirm that I also had the P0068 and changed the Air Oil Separator myself following instruction on YouTube (same as Cayenne) and part number from transam (above). As of now, everything is working perfectly, good to go.

I know there are videos talking about changing just the diaphragm, and that might be cheaper, but I just grabbed the whole vent for $168 and swapped it out. The hardest part was getting a Torx/star T-10 L-bit (like an Allen key) to get the very back screw of the black plastic vanity cover. Other than that, make sure you have a Torx E-10 (like I said, only need Allen key-style L-wrench T10 for the very back, but can use it on all of them) and a female E-10 for the actual vent body and you’ll spend at most a 1-2 hours even if you take your time. A mechanic could do it in 10-15 mins. DO NOT pay thousands for this, and I’m assuming if you are reading this you are at least considering do-it-yourself 😀
