Default PSE Upgrade

Looking to upgrade the standard exhaust on my 2018 ST Turbo to PSE (also looking at other options, but for now focusing on PSE).

Just want to confirm, if I install the PSE, and I don’t have it wired to control/ activate with the Sport Exhaust button, will it just be in PSE/ open valve mode all the time? Appreciate any input.

yes, a common trick to keep it open all the time is to disconnect it from the vacuum lines that control it.

Thanks, I would rather have it in all the time, so don’t see the need to pay to have the SE on/off button activated.
Would anyone know if I can just put the existing rectangular base exhaust tips on the PSE, or do I have to put the round PSE tips on? I actually like the look of the rectangular tips better.

So, PSE is just one more button plus coding so you can manually open the valve? That sounds like an easy retrofit…
