Default Got some surprise error codes today in the 2016 Panamera Turbo

Found one post/thread similar to this from 2018 with no apparent resolution. Others report that one or more of these clear themselves after some restarts, only to come back at random intervals. Anyone else?

C12080 ECU
O02087 sport mode transmission
C120A1 control unit fault center differential lock
O0208A sport mode faulty
C12086 fault in electric parking brake control unit

I've had the C12086 EPB fault, I think it stems from owners not using the EPB. I've had a few cars fitted with them and when they aren't used, they seize up. It's part of annual test over here so must be operational. I had the hand brake shoes replaced, then calibrated. Seems to have fixed the issue, but I still get the occasional hand brake fault. Everything points to the actuator now, as further codes bring up actuator position implausible / actuator right blocked/ actuator force info not available.

As an aside, do you have any idea how healthy the battery is?

Mr. Tee, good to know on the parking brake code. I never use the paking brake.

My battery is good. I have an aftermarket lightweight Lithium battery, almost new, and I checked it out yesterday with my tender and it was nearly 100%.

I must live and park in hilly terrain, because I use my EPB every time I park my car. Good to know it likes the exercise and that I'm not wearing it out.

Have to agree, I don't like the car resting on the transmission, especially on a hill, makes me wince when you engage D. Not sure if they can be coded to engage automatically.

It's become habit for me to set it, and I really like not having to disengage it to drive off. Just fasten my seatbelt, put it in gear and go!

Hi, I have the same fault codes. Did you manage to find a solution? Thanks.

In my experience, wheel speed sensors or parking brake sensors can trigger these seemingly unrelated codes.

Parking brake sensors ? The actuator motors for the EPB? Mine has never played ball , always intermittent faults with it , shoes have been done, air gaps set to correct measurements too, might be time to get one fitted , they are handed though and not cheap

Interesting. Was that the solution to your initial post? I had the iCarsoft scanner, but it shows that all 4 wheel speed sensors are working and that they're showing consistent values. What and where are the parking brake sensors?
