Default Major Shaking.. Can’t Resolve

2012 Panamera Turbo S.....
Front shocks gave up and started changing them. As soon as that process vehicle developed a shaking issue. Changed both air ride pieces/suspensions in front due to a needle like leaks on top. Then I changed the Transmission Mount as it was shredded. After that saw the drive shaft bearing was lose. But I had to get the entire DRIVEshaft since they don’t sell small parts separately. Inside drive shaft small wheel with teeth was not grabbing well. Changed the whole thing. $ 2,400 later still shaking. Checked and changed the lower control arms (3rd time on this vehicle in its life time). Still shaking. They said the wheels were too big so went from 22 s to factory 19s. Still shaking. Installed my very special carbon 21 wheels with brand new pirelli p Zero Nero Tires. Still shaking. They said I ran wrong size tires but decided that wasn’t it. I have 295 35 21 vs 305 30 21 s now. I don’t know what else to change anymore Alignment is done tires control arms transmission mount drive shaft air suspensions all Brand New not used parts. Shakes at certain speeds and lets go. Shaking can get stupidly strong. Let’s say I take the car to 95 mph shaking starts throw the shift to Neutral it’s smooth as butter. So I think it’s a sort of drive issue PLEASE HELP ANYONE knows anything or any ideas

It is shaking or a vibration? Is it a high frequency or low? RPM related or speed related? I think these cars have a guibo between the trans and the driveshaft. Was that changed?

Thanks for your response. You can call it Vibration. Happens if I want to speed up quick step on the pedal hard. Also happens at speeds over 75. If it gets real bad the moment I throw the gear to Neutrel it stops. So it's definitely a drive issue. What's a giubo? Do I need to take the driveshaft out to get to it and see if it needs changing ?

It is essentially a rubber bushing between the transmission output shaft and the driveshaft. May also be called a flex-disc. It isolates the vibrations between the two. You may be able to tell its bad just by looking at it. It will appear frayed or cracked, much like a belt. Heat and age make them deteriorate.

Um... Are you running the correct tire sizes for a 4WD? Transferbox....?

Hi 305alp, I have something very similar happening with my 2013 Panamera GTS. Massive shaking at highway speeds. Three Porsche dealers have not been able to solve the problem. Just sending a quick message to you to see if you finally figured out what was causing your shaking problem. Thanks, Kevin

I had a similar issue on my 2013 GTS with 55k miles. The dealer couldn't duplicate the problem, because my issue would only occur after 45 minutes of highway driving. The dealer spent a few days digging into the car and ended up replacing the front shocks (wear), upper control arms (wear) and motor mounts (leaking). Just got back from a 2000 mile trip and the shaking has been fixed. It was about $8000 in parts and labor, but luckily my Carmax warranty covered it all.
