No driver profile feature on MY21 971 Panameras?

This:
Seems a little strange, yeah? I mean, if the PCM can do it generically, and ostensibly the 971.2 has the latest PCM, why not offer it? I'd love to find some confirmation of that. Couldn't find the 971.2 manual online yet though. Might still require a dealer's input...
I got an answer from a YouTube who posted a lot Porsche PCM tutorial videos. He basically says that Driver Profile is first introduced to 2019 Cayenn than 992. 971.1 Panamera was not designed for this feature so Porsche never had plan to introduce the feature to 971.2.

Dang that sux
My Cayenne says hello to me every morning lol
the Panamera is pretty upmarket so you think they might have figured out a way to download it like they do other PCM upgrades

How is the “driver profile” different than the driver personal settings? According to the Porsche Good to Know app (for 971.2), the personal settings include both “ergonomic settings” (“seat, door mirror, and steering wheel settings”) and “comfort settings” (“light settings (e.g. set off delay for Automatic Coming Home lights), visibility settings (e.g. rear wiper function with reverse gear selected) and central locking settings (e.g. automatic locking)”).

Ah ha! Maybe this explains it:
The magic seems to be in that you need to go through the Set-up Wizard at least once to trigger this:
Looks like until you do that you won't have activated this capability. Let us know how it works out?

Well, that’s a let down. Thanks for letting us know. I don’t even have those menus on my 971.1. I did ask a dealer, and they confirmed your findings. Not an option for the 971.2 models. Dang.

It really makes no sense why they wouldn’t add the feature with the refreshed 971.2, but oh well. It’s good that most of the settings (ergonomic and comfort) can be done through the key.

Porsche has made significant PCM update to 2022 991s. I think enough has said about the importance of Panamera to Porsche's product offering. 991 is not even half way through and received the huge update already..
