Anyone ever do it? Have a squeak under the dash. Took out instrument cluster and its behind the ac vent tube. Thought it may have been outside up fron, took off wipers and siliconed the outside and nothing. Looks like I'm taking the dash off. Anyone ever have a squeak under the dash that was easily fixed before I tear this thing apart? Sprayed inside and out made no difference.

 

Have you considered using a borescope now that you have some access? I would be concerned about causing other issues while R&R the dash.

 

I tried that but its tight back there and was hard to see. I think if I could see it with the scope itd still be hard to get to without taking the dash out. It sucks the noise is coming from between the ac vent tube and the firewall. I'm thinking whatever points the dash rests on to attach to are either loose or broken. Just replaced the whole front end new shocks and all and now got a squeak that is driving me nuts. Dealer said 6 hours which wasnt bad, but at $185 a hour. 1200 for them to do it or a long weekend for me.
