Ceramic Pads to Reduce Brake Dust on a 2018 Turismo Turbo
It is time for me to replace my OE pads for Ceramic pads like I did on AMG to get rid of the brake dust. I'm new to the Porsche World and there is so many options on OE rotors sizes that I'm am not aware of in order to pick the right pads. Example it is asking if I have 410mm or 390mm front rotors and if I have 380mm or 365mm? I have no clue the size of my Rotor or find that data
Would anyone on this Forum happen to know on the 2018 Turismo Turbo the Rotors sizes front and rear?
Last Question, Any tips as I do my "First " Brake job on a Porsche

I went to the Porsche configuration website for the 2017-2020 Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo and these are the size differences when you choose to upgrade the normal brakes (6-piston, 410 mm / 4-piston, 380 mm) to the ceramic brakes (10-piston, 420 mm / 4-piston, 410 mm).
I can confirm that the rotors on my PTT ST GTS with PCCB are the same size (420 mm / 410 mm) as “I had recently removed my wheels and measured them.”
I hope this helps.

Also, in the Porsche parts guide, if you're looking for the actual part numbers for the replacement ceramic pads, the Front Pads are 971 698 151 C and the Rear Pads are 971 698 451 E. Both front and rear ceramic pads can be found on both the GetPorscheParts, a Silver Spring Auto Group, MD (Front | Rear) and Suncoast Porsche (Front | Rear) websites for a discounted price.

I think OP has steel brakes as s/he is trying to replace with aftermarket ceramic pads to minimize dust. PCCB pads are not as dusty as steel pads and they are hot interchangeable with regular steel rotors.
I have the 4ST and my front rotors are 390 and rear are 360mm. I have the hawks performance ceramic pad waiting for me to install during spring time. I believe the turbo cars have bigger rotors and I don’t even need to take out wheels to measure them. Try think outside the box.

I just added Hawk ceramic pads to my Pan 4S that has standard brake steel rotors. Cuts down the brake dust by over 50% or more. Brakes work great so don't hesitate and install them. You will be glad you did.

Here was my experience, but if Akebono is available in your size, I recommend them over the Hawk. The Akebono will have less dust with no degradation in stopping power.

I was just about to order a new set of tires for my 2018 P4S and saw this thread. My car has the 21" wheels and the wheels are real PITA to clean so I was wondering if it might be a good idea to swap out the pads for a set of ceramic ones to cut down on dust, but the Akebono site web catalog doesn't even have 'Porsche' as a manufacturer option. Are there any preferred suppliers? TireRack doesn't have any listed for my car.
Thanks
