cool. That’s where I had my anti-laser priority control module in my 2 Macans. How much did you pay for install? How long did it take them?

It took two days. I think the install labor was about $1400. This is with the CI360 with front and rear radar, plus the Antilaser Priority with 5 heads (3 regular, 2 TX). Total was about $5500.

interesting you went with ALP for anti-laser and didnt use Escort shifters. I’m a HUGE fan of ALP. I’ve been lasered a ton and never been stopped. I like how they update the firmware so much.

yes. I had the full Escort system with 6 escort jammer heads on my 2018 E63S. But the issue is you need 3 heads front and rear for the latest guns and escort never updated their control box to support that so the rear jammers did not alert through the system. I figured it would give me similar functionality at a lower price with a cleaner install with The Antilaser. Also I like that the center front TX head is smaller. You can see pics of my car exterior on the link in my signature.

cool. Did you ever consider ALP with a hardwired Escort 360 max detector on windshield? That’s the setup I had in my Macan Turbo and worked great, but you do have a detector you see. I think it’s easier to see alerts with it vs the small escort module that’s installed in my PTT right now. I do have the insulated glass and need to confirm the detector will work to the side of the rear view mirror. I have an install date for 1/4

I just don’t like windshield units. They cheapen the interior in my opinion. And I find the visibility of the display to be just fine. I have mine on the dash by the A pillar just in front of the Burmester speaker. It’s perfectly in line of sight and is almost like a HUD.

did you ever test detector by rear view mirror?
I haven't yet, sorry. Family is in until end of the week. I'll see what I can rig up as I have it hardwired through the mirror mount.

Uh oh, so, are you saying my iX Ci with two shifters in the front won't be effective on laser then? Ugh! Please tell me I am not reading that correctly!

Who did your install? I’m also in Atlanta and would be interested in a recommendation. Thx.

I confirmed with my own Escort 360 Max it works at least to the left of rear view mirror here. Got a forward Ka band alert just now testing it. Here is pic where it is

OK, cool. Oddly, my SunPass was placed exactly where you have your mount located and...nuthin! As soon as I stuck it to my moonroof, it works every time now. Ugh! I am going to attempt to install the iX Ci this weekend...

I'll let you know how it goes or if I

It depends on the laser gun. The newer ones, it won't be effective. The older ones it will be fine.
