Default Wheel & exhaust tip refresh

I was so happy with the way this came out I wanted to share. Had the factory 19s powder coated in gloss black with factory gloss black center caps. I did the calipers in black with dark blue Porsche lettering 9 months ago and finally got around to the rims. I had the exhaust tips done in flat black to keep with the same theme.

This was after the calipers were painted black with blue lettering to match the exterior color. Kinda hard to see in this pic but what a difference this made in the look. The factory aluminum calipers do not wear well.

New gloss black rims look great with the black calipers.

Exhaust tips in flat black to clean up the back end.

Looks great. I did the same with my 21"s.

I have to say that the gloss black makes the 19" wheels look much, much better than they otherwise would IMO. Normally I don't love the look for smaller wheels but visually the black hides the size.

I prefer the smaller wheels as the don't hurt the performance as much but on this car the wells appear to have been sized for the 21" wheels making it a tough choice. As to the mod however, nothing I don't like there; looks factory and now matches the window surrounds. That's a win.
