Default 971 Front cup holder question

On longer drives, the wife and I will take the larger Yeti stainless insulated cups (32 oz) with us. The cup fits fine in one of the cup holders, but seems slightly too large to drop into the front most cup holder. I’ve noticed there are adapters for the 970 to accommodate a larger cup, but haven’t found anything for the 971.

Other than leaving the cups home, or buying smaller cups, is anyone aware of a solution to accommodate these cups? Or a different brand of 32oz insulated cup that will fit into the front most cupholder? A solution here will make for a very happy wife!

Thanks!

First complaint I made when i got my first 971.
What I found was that the sliders didn't push back in easily, compared to my 970.2 previously.
My cup would fit the larger hole, but with some force resulting in spillages in the smaller hole, particularly whilst on the move.
The dealer even checked a number of cars to see if my was faulty, but all the same.
The sliders push in by hand easily but not when pressure applied vertically like with a cup.
My second 971 is the same.
I searched high and low for a decent cup that would fit the smaller hole.
I have more bloody cups than a cup shop.

Goodluck !

What is the best size cup for the smaller cup holder in the 971? Also what is the best size for the larger one?

It I was in charge of the Panamera development I fire the idiot(s) that came up with the cup holders. I fire the manager that brought the idea to the meeting where it was first suggested. I'm not talking about two weeks, I'm talking about 4 goons come in immediately and drag them out of the building while hitting their heads on every desk and door jamb on the way to their unceremonious toss to the curb. That much stupid can't be allowed two weeks to further damage the company.
