Default How to set Departure Timers?

Hi all - I have a MY14 SEH and car connect app with e-mobility activated.
The problem I am having is getting departure timers to stay set. I can set them, but all clear/reset when I'm next in the car...
Using the in-car PCM I set a recurring timer, 7am, mon-fri. The tick activated. Back to main vehicle page, then back in to timers and I see it. Now if I get out of the car and plug in, it just chargers with no timer. Getting back in the car, all the timers have reset to blank!
I also tried from the app - setting recurring timer and activating. Same thing, and app settings reset to blank too!?
I'm sure I had it work once (the timer light was lit up my the plug in), but no idea how!

Any help/guidance would be massively appreciated!!

I have the 2018 E-Hybrid. The way I do it is as soon as I return to the house, before I shut off the car, I go into the "Hybrid" menu and turn on the Departure Timer which I already have set to 7:00 am the following morning. Then I shut the car down and plug in the charger. I can see the timer light is lit on the car and the charger is not charging (I've checked my meter to be sure). I believe it actually starts charging sometime around 4:00 am and is fully charged by 7:00 am. The PCM does keep my 7:00 am departure time shown in the Hybrid menu but it has to be turned on manually each time as I indicated above.

Hi,

I have this same problem with my 2014 SEH Panamera. Only difference is that I don't use the car connet app. I also asked my local Porsche service about this, but they couldn't give me any ideas without bigger investigations.

I have the same problem. 2015 Cayenne, PCM 3.1, ver 4.76.
its driving me crazy, it has a re-occurring daily timer set by the previous owner, I can deactivate it and save settings using seat memory but it reactivates every time I use the car. I just want it unset so I can charge when I need to...
Not sure if it's PCM related as it's set using the steering wheel buttons and dials behind the wheel...

I have spent hours researching but have found nothing...
