The picture of the new wheels is one standout; I don't love them but they're different. The Turbo S is a nice upgrade, the gap between there and the GTS implies that there may be a Turbo slotting between down the road? There are other similar articles out now that suggest the GTS might be firmed up relative to the Turbo although I could be reading more into it than is there. I had hoped for a little more; a very light refresh.
They finally offer a 4S e hybrid. I wish they offered one when I spec my 4 E hybrid and took delivery in January.
seems it’s mostly tune though because the 4 e hybrid and 4S e hybrid have the same mechanical components.
The greater battery range is nice too.

I find it odd that they are going to have a Turbo S and a Turbo S eHybrid. The spec on the Turbo S sounds impressive, but I wonder how the turbo lag will be with the largo turbos. What is great with the ehybrid Turbo S is that there is no turbo lag whatsoever do to the assist. 4s eHybrid sounds like a real sweet spot.
Re the Turbo, if the Turbo S prices under the Turbo S ehybrid is should start in the high $180s or around $190 which doesn’t leave a lot of room for a high spec turbo model with the performance options PDCC, PCCB, 4ws, etc. There may not be enough price gap between a GTS and the non-Hybrid Turbo S to fit in a Turbo.

The 4S-H would certainly cull some sales away from a 575 hp Turbo which may be a reason why that gap exists in the line? It does tend to change the product positioning in my mind. I think you had the base and 4 as an entry level, the 4S and hybrid held the middle ground, the turbo and S being the high end with the GTS being neither here nor there in the way that only Porsche can do it. Now in my mind the 4S and Hybrid become more the better of the base models than mid range and the 4S-H becomes the mid range.
As I consider these changes it does seem to me that rumors of the Panamera being discontinued in the near term may have been incorrect. They're reporting great sales of the Hybrid overseas and the car had been up almost everywhere before the virus hit. I'm thinking right now that's a good thing because this may be the first car besides the Corvette I buy two of assuming it sticks around; just keeps getting better as the ownership experience goes on.
