Default Thule Vector installed pics

In case someone is looking for how this newish cargo box looks on a Panamera. Observations thus far with one trip, looks great, functions well, acceptable wind noise. The top speed of 80mph being the only bummer...

Thanks for posting. The 80mph speed limit is odd, but I suppose understandable.

What was the hit to fuel economy?

Looks good! The integrated roof rail mounts on the 970 are so much better than their deletion on the 971.

Think I'll get the same box for my Panamera ST, but I'll need to use an OEM or Thule rack that clamps to the door frames.

Wait: The 971 doesn't have integrated rack mounts? It's one of the things I love about my 970.2.

I'm looking over a 996 911 that's local, and even that has mounts. Why would they get rid of the factory mounts?

This rack looks far more aerodynamic than my huge Yakima pod and very surprised it has an 80 mph limit. Mine is probably limited to even lower speeds, but I can assure you it has traveled at significantly higher speeds pretty much every trip it takes. I'm wondering if that's a CYA limit imposed by the legal teams? If you're traveling out West, 80 mph just won't cut it.

The integrated roof mounts are the most elegant solution I’ve seen, just simple and brilliant. 80 mph limit per owners manual, and agree, out here in UT\west, doing 80 is pedestrian. This rack has probably gone faster than 80 😇.
I don’t really pay attention to mpg, so can’t comment on mpg hit. With the extended range tank, it just seems like forever between fill ups.

Vector on 971 Sport Turismo. Thule Evo load bars.
Of note, very difficult to source the Evo tower “fit kit” for the Sport Turismo.

Extremely quiet (but also optioned with thermal insulated glass).
