I just recently took delivery of a 2020 Panamera 4s with all the goodies (sport exhaust, PASM, rear wheel steering, sports chrono etc...) Im wondering if anyone has bought and installed the racechip ecu upgrade for their 971 generation 4s (Petro not diesel). Its supposed to give a 75 hp bump to 515hp and a 165nm gain in torque. Its not priced that steeply (700 euros and taxes/shipping) so maybe it will be worthwhile?
Nice car, have a 2018 4S White with Bordeaux interior Premium Plus and Sport Package. I installed the Race Chip last month but took it out and returned it. I had it in the car and could feel some difference but when I would gun it the car would go into some kind of limp mode. It would give me a reverse gear not found warning and 2,4, and 6th gear were gone. Once I shut the car down and restarted it everything went back to normal. It happened to me every time I drove the car and gunned it. After a couple back and forths with tech support I told them I just wanted to return it so they sent me a shipping label to return. I could feel a difference but I didnt want to keep anything in the car that was going to have problems like that, hope this helps with your decision. I am still looking for a chip and lowering module but havent found anything yet.
