SP- I'll have photos of the install later this week- integration of the ducktail instead of seamed, double-sided tape is driver for the paint procedure.
Does it weigh much more than a stock hatch? There was another forum member that had challenges w/ their struts holding up a duck tail hatch due to excessive weight.
Additional weight is minimal (ducktail) but add the material used to bond it etc. and.....When I was speaking with Mike at Vivid Racing, no concerns were raised about the weight/hatch. In a similar conversation with Prior Design, I felt that all the T's and I's had been addressed, which is why I went with the PD product. But adding weight to anything will impact operation efficiency- Entropy is a fact of life. Besides. It's shiny!
The pictures don't do it justice. Changes the stance of the Panamera completely. Very happy with the mod. Not sure I'll leave it 'Turbo' only. First time driving it with the Tubi Catbacks. Also an excellent addition. Hardly use the valve as it is plenty grunty now!
This doesn't look "stuck on". Is this an option that replaces the whole rear hatch. I do kind of think it looks good. These are some of the best pictures I've seen that show it well and push me closer to liking it more. I still want to see it in person. I agree that there is something missing on the back without the spoiler. There are obviously similar designs that attach, and it certainly looks better more integrated. What I want is exactly what you have but with the spoiler going wider beyond the hatch and overlapping the tail lights a bit. It reminds me of the early 2000's M6 BMW hatch.
The lack of badges looks naked, but that because I'm not used to seeing it clean. Adding more text probably isn't the answer! In any case the cost of this being well over $1000 isn't something I'm willing to do, but it does make your car unique in a positive way.

Paul-- The ducktail is blended into the existing deck lid. You're going to have to pony up to get this installed properly. And to be honest, you have to get the ducktail painted, which is about half the cost of the install. Eurowerks Auto www.eurowerksauto.com (954) 440-8400 (John/Scott/Santos) are the folks I dealt with. Great people and total gear heads.
That blended look, looks soooooooooooo fake.
Note how the Prior design duck tail bottom section perfectly matches the oem tail light crease etc.
That looks OEM!!!
