Default electric motor?

2012 P4. When I get to the at rest car and touch the door handle I hear in the left rear what sounds like an electric motor start running for, say, 10 seconds and then it stops. What is that?

you are probably hearing the air compressor running to ensure the car is level. 10 seconds is maybe a bit long.. mine runs for 1 - 3 seconds. There is a potential concern if it's running for 15 - 30 seconds (for example) as that may mean you have a leak or the compressor is not working very well. Just pay attention if the compressor starts to run longer and longer. But I wouldn't worry much for now.

Thank you, Strassenkurven.

So does that mean (on the build sheet):"475 Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)"

includes air suspension as described here: https://www.excellence-mag.com/of-no...sion-with-pasm ?

Default Nope

My Indy/friend says it is a fuel pump. I do not have an air suspension
