Default Rear suspension level sensor

Anyone replaced one before? One of mine showing a fault and I have the dreaded chassis system failure.

So, just in case anyone finds this same problem later on here are some more details.

2010 PTT

Symptoms:

Car goes up, down totally normally. It sits level.
No height loss overnight.
Compressor comes on for a few seconds (rarely though) and sounds fine.

Chassis system failure in red randomly appears in dash, and the sport button light illuminates. Clears every time with an engine restart. Some journeys don’t get the warning at all.

Been through Ciaka’s excellent fault finding write up. Nothing found loose and no leaks.

Quick scan for faults when the failure is active gives faults with the PSM module

002087 Sport mode, transmission, faulty
00208A Sport mode faulty

Level Control module

000220 vent solenoid valve on time exceeded.

So I was thinking valve block, however when I look at the actual sensor values all looked fine with one exception - rear left height sensor gone mad. As per the screenshot above (Icarscan).

There is obviously something wrong there and it easier than the valve block so I thought I’d start with that!

So, checked part number - be careful There are different numbers for different years, front, back and left/right are different.

New one on its way. I’ll update when I fit it and go through the level calibration
