Default A little rough idle and engine lights on, Panamera 2012

Hi

I have a Panamera 4, 2012, v6 around 60.000 miles. and it started having some problems with it. It started going a bit rough in the idle, nothing dramatic, but just so you could feel it the car and hear it, drives fine, but the engine lights comes on and. a message about reduced power, but the car felt fine driving it. I have pulled the Fault codes and it said C2300, C1900, C2100, after this I have just changed all the ignition coils, and spark plugs. Cleared the codes and the problem is still there have only driven a short trip and got the engine light on and a uneaven idle. Pulled the codes again and the new codes are P1361, P1359, P1363.

Any ideas what to try next....

Thanks.

The primary sensors are crankshaft position and mass airflow sensors. What condition are these in? Next on my list would be cam position sensors, then EGR, then general leaks in the air intake system.

Are there any unusual sounds or smells from the vehicle? In other words, puffs of exhaust from anywhere on the vehicle besides the tailpipe of course. Does the exhaust smell unlike it has smelled in the past? If you rev the engine while in park, does the engine miss, stutter or sputter?

I don't know the state of the Crankshaft position or mass airflow sensors. I haven't change them in the periode I had the car (4 years) and around 10000 miles. I don't know the history of the car before this. There are no unusual sounds from the car, it revs fine when its in park. Regarding smell, I don't know. Unfortunately I can't smell and not been able to do this for many years, Long story... ;-) I haven't notice any exhaust coming out from anywhere. I will check this and check leaks in the air system first.

Thx for the input chassis.

There is a valve control solenoid at least on the V8 cars. Similar behavior and codes. I had one replaced under CPO at 30K mikes or so. Could possibly be that.

thx, I’ll look into this as well :-) there are no vacuum leaks or exhaust leaks so it must be a sensor fault somehow....

I wouldn’t make that assumption.
