Default Pricing on 2019 Panas?

Curious as to discounts on 2019's as 2020's are starting to show up on showroom floors.

And if anyone has specific pricing experience with 2019 e-hybrids, would be great.

Thanks in advance!

What's crazy is that there are still-new and almost-new 2018s still on dealer lots, especially high MSRP Turbos and Turbo e-hybrids. If you can find one that is spec'd as desired, discounts will be enormous, even more so for the Sport Turismos...

my dealer just blasted me an unsolicited email on a 2019 turbo S hybrid sport turismo, 30% off msrp after 1300mi. Probably wants to move it before the 2020 show up.

30% off on a '19 is solid. I got my new 18 Turbo S just around 29% in July but the key also was to get it CPO'd.

Hi. New to forums (after a 10yr hiatus...i can't find my login info!) but am looking into the Sport Turismo. Seems to be quite a few 18s out there with low mileage (less than 10k), practically new. They are discounted ~30% off MSRP. What would be a good price on one of these at this point?

Thanks!

As a point of reference, for giggles I just took my 2018 Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo for buy-out quotes from two different places. I have about 11,500 miles on the ODO, and I bought it new in March of 2019 (even though it was a MY 2018 car). The Porsche dealer offered me $94k, and Tesla offered me $92k. MSRP was $182k and I paid $152k with another $25k in value to me in things like avoiding a looming mileage penalty on what I traded in, free 2-way shipping, eating a ton of negative equity on my trade, etc.

In the "Notes" section of the quote from the P dealer, they said that there are 185 days worth of supply in the market. Not clear if that's only ST's, only 2018s, all Panameras, new/used, whatever. And I didn't ask. But clearly these cars are screaming buys if you like them. Best car I've ever owned and it's not particularly close.

Nice! Thanks for the info. Yeah, these are definitely out there so just trying to calibrate my offer. It's great for me because the Sport Turismo is the only one I want. Thanks thanks!

Good time to buy one. I just got about 28% off msrp on a 2018 Turbo S that was an untitled executive demo with 3500 miles. That included CPO, they did well on my trade, and I get the $6,760 PHEV federal tax credit since the car was untitled. I too was only interested in a Sport Turismo.

Great! Seems like there's a deal to be had. One general question - how should I value CPO? I know it extends for 2 years unlimited so is it similar to the extended warranty and thus worth ~$3,000 ($1500/yr)? Also, is it possible to ask the dealer to DO it for the car if it isn't already?

my dealer priced it at $3500, fwiw. I passed since it was a 2019 with very few miles and still has 3 years left on the new vehicle warranty. Depending on the circumstance, it might be worth more to you since it requires an inspection and a warranty on the inspection results. It puts a little more onus on the dealer that the car is in the condition they claim its in.

Quick convo with my dealer yielded the same ($3500). Probably will not do it given ownership time horizon is tbd for me. Thanks!!!

$3500 is consistent with prices and it is possible to CPO a lot of cars, just need to ask if they will do it.

CPO Transfers if vehicle is sold private party but it it goes back to a dealer, it will lose its CPO status.

Hi. Just cause I've gotten great responses (Thanks to all so far), I figured I'd ask a question about Insurance in NY State. I've gotten a few quotes and looks to be about $3200/yr or so. I read some threads and there seems to be some opportunities to save with different vendors but so far I haven't found anything (Geico, Progressive, Liberty Mutual). I'm open to trying more quotes but I'm wondering if maybe it's the limits I'm choosing that are driving prices up. Collision and Liability appear to be the biggest items so I'm wondering what makes most sense. $100k/$300k for Liability seems right but is it okay to go with a higher deductible for Collision? (e.g. $2k) given the high repair cost for the car?

Thanks!
