Default Mirror tilt. Am I doing something wrong?

Brand new Panamera owner, and I’m still reading and learning about everything this car is capable of.
I think I have all the settings set the correct way, but the passenger side (right) mirror still does not tilt down when I go into reverse.

Put it in reverse then set the mirror to where you want it.

I understand I can move it manually, but it’s supposed to do it automatically when I put it in reverse.

Think what he is saying is you need to tell it the position one time.

OK. That’s what I was missing. Didn’t know the angle the mirror went to had to be set. Got it up and running.
Thanks all.

I think you have to put in reverse, position it, AND if you have memory package save it to the key or seat position.

I believe when I set my mirror tilt, I simply checked the box, put it in reverse, and set the mirror location. No need to save it to memory.

Interesting I had to on mine or it wouldn't remember it. But, before i saved it, sometimes it would drop, but rarely.?? Seems to be stable now though, so I put it down to saving the memory.
Also same on ambient lighting, wouldn't remember the setting until i saved it to the key.

Huh, I checked the box and mine went down when put in reverse, too far down. I had no idea it was adjustable. I'm going to have to try adjusting it and see what happens, my experience is the car doesn't save anything unless you hit the buttons and possibly not even then.

I initially set mine too low too. I just put it back into reverse and adjusted it, hit the memory buttons, and now it’s set right where I like it.
