Not an option with factory PCM in any year. Would require a new head unit. Just switched to iPhone for this reason

 

Nope not switching for a car. Been an android household since it came out. No Itunes hostage here.

Actually Bob, only the ST has android auto. It's gonna be the iPhone or the ST for you. Pick your poison.

Lifetime android user here too (until my 2nd Porsche).

Porsche themselves said it's in the works, timeframe unannounced. Not something I'd hold my breath over but certainly more than internet rumor. And yeah, I don't dislike the iPhone but it's an answer to a question I never asked. Chances of switching are very very low; we're talking a decimal point with a lot of zeros followed by a one.
