Don't blame you, the key not working is a bit of a non-starter. Get it, bit of a... Never mind. lol Just trying to throw a little humor in there because I faced similar (most of us have I'm sure) and I understand how frustrating it can be. Do you have an antenna coming?

Not yet, I have to wait until my appointment before they can reprogram the keys. Once they’re reprogrammed and if it still doesn’t work then we can see if the antenna is the problem... seems like a very slow and inefficient way to do it but i guess that’s my only option at this point

Not if you have keyless entry.

Default 2018 Panamera key prob, garage dr program prob.

I have just purchased a 2018 Panamera 4S, it was a PCNA vehicle. 3,000 miles.
I drive it home no problem. Next day the car doesn’t recognize either key.
i replace both batteries. Same problem. I hold key out of pocket and eventually
car starts. On occasion car sends signal while driving “key not found”.
So very frustrating...my Cayenne and 911 NEVER had this problem.
Half the time car doesn’t recognize key as I approach it to unlock.
I won’t mention I can’t program garage doors.(UPDATE...REMOVED FUSES & PROGRAMED GARAGE DOORS)
1 down...1 problem left!

Not normal behaviour.
Check your (car) battery.

This is ridiculous.
sorry to hear that. I had to go back and forth several times but the dealer eventually agreed to open up the rear antenna and replaced it. Basically the signal was too weak. This was done in October and everything is great now. Here’s what they did so you can share with your local dealer.

Thank you @Yvette362 I did have the same problem like you. After a few trips to the dealer I pointed them to this thread. After some discussion they did replace the mentioned parts. And guess what? My problem has been solved as well. So I owe you a beer (or wine). If you are ever in the Netherlands, I owe you one!

On my 2018, they first replaced the internal antenna, no effect. Then they replaced both keys and the control unit, and now keyless entry and start works fine.
