I’ve owned at least one Porsche since 1976. I am 0 for 2 on buying used V8 Cayennes— cylinder scoring > piston slap. I’ve seen no discussion in this Panamera site. For my 07 C2S I religiously stay below 3K until oil is hot and so far no issues.
I am considering a ‘10 Panamera S with 50K miles. What’s the consensus of you Panamera owners? Should I worry? It is the same engine as the Cayenne, right?

Long time since I been to Findlay
(used to live in Galion)
there was some issues with scoring on the Panamera's as well, though ti seem to be rather small, I have a 2010 4S and so far no issues with the motor, Like you on your C2S I keep the rev's low until she's good and hot (insert what ever foreplay metaphor float your boat here)

I had a 2012 Panamera 4S that encountered cylinder scoring around 19K miles and Porsche replaced the engine under warranty. I now have a 2014 Panamera Turbo that just turned over 40K miles with no issues at all.
