Default Will luggage partition net attach behind front seats?

part: 974-861-691-A-AY1

Will the luggage partition net attach behind the front seats when rear seats are folded?
My old E34 touring would do that.

This, though, is a different part than the one I posted above? (or is this the same part that fits in two positions)

its the same part. There are wings on the sides that fold out to make the net wider, accounting for the wider luggage area more forward in the rear (and fold in for use in the more narrow compartment portion and for storage). There are D-rings in the passenger foot well that the screen clips into with the belt strap on the far right/left. The middle belt straps more viable in the picture are for the D-rings in the cargo area.

I have the cargo management system which are the rails on the floor (along with accessories including the sliding D-rings in the picture and the luggage partition net) and am having a custom made Canvasback cargo liner made later this month to incorporate the cargo management floor rails. The gals at Canvasback will keep the template if you wanted to have them make you one. I hope to have it done by early September and can post pics. My Goldens are anxiously waiting for it to be complete so they can go for a ride.

Go Blue, thanks, that’s really helpful.
My used PanaST didn’t come with cargo mgmt system. I wonder if it can be retrofitted. The rails attach to the cargo area floor panel, right?

Your location says MN. I was a Gopher for a few years as a Med student at the U. That’s too cold for me now.

there was some discussion here on Rennlist or Macan Forum about successfully retrofitting in the cargo management system. Someone has done it. If I find a thread, I'll post it here.Yes its cold. I am trying to do my part with dino fueled vehicles to drive more global warming.
