RaceChip 971 Panamera Turbo
Hey everyone! The guys over at RaceChip had a 971 Panamera turbo in their shop for some tuning and wanted to share their results. The Panamera Turbo has long been an amazing platform for tuning and reacts very well to mods, the 971 generation is no exception to that. These are plug and play solutions that can be easily installed and removed. Check out the video below and let us know if you have any questions as we are now an official RaceChip dealer!

These harnesses are a nightmare. Show the harness on the engine right? Tricking sensors blah blah. Good luck with this.
Why not not come up with an OBD port solution like Benz after 3 years. ?

A lot of the newer Porsche ECUs cannot be read through the OBD2 unfortunately. ECU flashing is definitely the way to go but in some situations this is the only option

I don't speak german and i also don't see the first dyno run on here before racechip.
You cannot compare manufacturer OEM numbers to real world results as you well know that Porsche/Audi etc.. normally under-report power for these engines.
I wouldn't be surprised if the real dyno numbers are close to 600HP so perhaps we are getting an additional 50hp from racechip at best.
Audi did the same thing on the RS7, real world dyno numbers were significantly higher than what they reported. Even an aggressive ECU tune from APR only yielded about 60more HP and i doubt this racechip could do better than that.
Prove me wrong, please!

I tried both out. If you want something you can put on the car to maintain the stock factory calibration on the ECU, the Racechip is a good path. If you want the utmost in performance and drivability, the ECU reflash is the way to go. My experience, anyway.

I just installed the Racechips GTS Black on my 2012 PTT and I can confirm that this is easy to install (15-20 minutes) and gave substantial performance gains. The car is WAY, faster and aggresive. I would recommend this to anyone over any other upgrade available for the price poin. I did a Google search and found a coupon for 10% off and got free shipping. Total price was $700 for what I'd guess is close to 90+ hp.
I'd compare the power gains from this to what I got with a stage 3 cam, longtube headers, full 3" exhaust, CAI, and ignition on my LS3 corvette at about $6k. This is real world feedback.

Also note, I am running 325's out back and 275 tires in the front and still spin. This mod is the real deal. My car is a turbo, so I cant speak to NA gains.
