Default Revving problems!

I have a 2012 Panamera 4S, does anyone ever experience hard revving after applying the brakes quickly?

Unlike traditional transmissions, it is the sporty nature of the PDK and programming that results in a downshift during braking with engine speed to match. It allows the car to be in the correct gear, in the event that you wish to immediately accelerate, such as driving through a turn or curve. You may also feel a surge in power while braking due to the downshift.

Thank you so much. That explained a lot because I often feel that surge of power during the down shift. I try not to panic when it happens, now I know there’s really no need to worry. It’s just a Porsche thing.....

and what mode to you normally drive in, sport mode or normal? (I think I may have noticed the revving, but only in sport mode)

I’m always in normal mode when I notice it.
