Prospective Panamera Purchase

I love driving this car, and although I can from a family of car enthusiasts, I probably love cars no more than the average person. But this car makes my heart sing every time I drive it! Doesn’t hurt that it’s damn good looking too.

Yeah, my wife is in some sort of limbo land between shock and awe. I'm not sure which is dominant. She's got a Porsche thing and this her third.
I'm a bike guy whose idea of a four-wheel ride is my 4x4 pickup, but I gotta admit, there's something about this Pannie which lights my fire. I get a thrill just seeing it in the garage. I've never seen such a nice interior as well. My only issue is minor. The new Conti tires the PO put on make more road noise than I'd like.

I think it's because unless it's a special order, most dealers take black, white or one of the five thousand variants of silver/gray for their stock. Every so often you'll see some stunning colors like Jim's gold number or an amethyst but it's kind of few and far between. I've got Agate Gray.

Both gray and amethyst sound like great colors.
Weirdly we likely have a history with this car or kinda sorta. Years ago I was filling my and my wife's bike in a Durango Exxon station. A silver car pulled in to the other side of the pumps. It took me a second to realize that it was a Panamera - a car up until that time I'd only seen in magazines and the Internet. Going over the history of the car, we noted it's a Durango car.
Now there's no proof that these two silver Panameras are the same car, but knowing Durango as I do, I think it's highly probable.
