Default GT3 Air vent fender on Panamera 971

Hi guys,

I have an idea when I look at Mansory and I love the fender but it’s too pricey.
I contacted a carbon fiber factory in China, and they said they can produce a “fake” add-on air vent on original 971 fender. But the minimum order is 10 sets (10% if more than 20 sets). I’ll update the price for you asap.
What do you think?

I like the look, but I couldn't cut my car up. In my opinion, if you go with something this extreme on the fenders, and I do think it would look good, you don't want to do any other ticky tacky stuff anywhere else.

I think the hood vent that is at the front of the hood, where it meets the bumper, is more subtle.

It’s a panamera not a GT3RS. NO.

To each their own. But, hacking up the fenders is going to be a hard sell.

Mmmmmm.... worst idea ever. (But frankly I'd say that about just about everything Mansory has ever done to a Panamera.)

Having spent a lot of time on car forums I have often seen things I don't like but almost invariably will subscribe to the not saying anything dichotomy. That one though, it's like someone needs to organize an intervention for the good of everyone involved. I'm sorry, that's as kind as I can be.

If you really like it and plan on keeping the car for a long time, go for it! However, if you ever intend to sell the vehicle I think this mod will significantly lower resale value. As others have posted, it's certainly not for everyone.

Mother always said, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.” That advice is as good today as it was sixty years ago. Nuff said?

Yes but mother never has the internet. Mother would also say “ if you ask what someone thinks, or want an option, don’t ignore the answers you don’t like “ ...or “if you can’t deal with criticism don’t ask...”

Exactly, had he posted pictures of this on his car I would not have posted at all. Here he was specifically soliciting opinions pre-purchase and this one is far enough toward yipes you end feeling some obligation to try and politely say something that might at least get the person thinking about it.

You do realize that this is a forum where people generally speak their minds and the original post specifically asked "What do you think?". If you ask the question, be prepared for the answers...........good or bad.
