So I've got a few gremlins in our 2012 Panamera 4. Short story: I decided to check all the fuses and replace as needed. The car didn't come with the manual, so I printed the fuse locations and details and spent an hour working it all out. I ended up pulling some, and adding some, only to realize I had downloaded the WRONG year from Porsche... Yeah, I know...
Horn wouldn't sound, windows wouldn't go down, oh crap....!
Swapped them all around with the correct info.
Well now I have a couple faults that won't go away. And maybe its all totally unrelated...?!
I have an ABS warning (photo attached), and a fuel warning (new gas cap didn't help), and now today my TPMS system says my tires are down 7-8 lbs, and even after clearing them and resetting, the warning pops back up.
The question (finally) is can I use my Durametric program to "reset" everything? The enthusiast cable WILL actually let you code the Panamera (I've read that only the pro cable can, but I've also seen in the documentation that you can on the Panamera). I was in the coding section and can change values, but haven't yet. Thats why I am here.
Can I just code everything back to default?? I've done the battery disconnect for a night, and nothing changes...
with durametric, there is not much you can modify and set on panamera. Car is not high enough volume for durametric to move their butts and code new features. You can clear faults, reset service intervals. Most other stuff you will have to wait.
Want to reset all, disconnect battery for few hours in trunk. It will do the trick just make sure you do not close hatch when battery is disconnected, as it is electrical and you wont be able to open it without assistance from charger.
