Yes the garage bay in front of the car is empty, I was just too lazy to take it in last night, didn't have the clicker on me to open or program, etc. My last car was about 4" shorter, so I want to pull it in when there's plenty of light and not just rely on the sensors.

I'm in NY, about an hour N of NYC.

Wow better deal than I got which I thought was good. I purchased a 2018 Launch vehicle, Sport Turismo Turbo in Chalk, black leather interior. Sport package, Premium Plus, rear wheel steer, carbon fiber interior, assistance package, massage seats, panorama vision, model designation in black gloss, Original MSRP was 186, this was prior to price increase which raised it to 188. I got it 170 which was about a 10% discount, purchased new with only 200 miles on it. Its not often I hear of 10% discounts. Even in the recession the dealers held cars and sold them used but not much more than a 10% discount but then you did get the extended warranty. Not sure if the launch vehicle build code means anything or if this just a car that Porsche configured to show to the press. But its a really nicely configured for looks and performance features.

Yes I'm thrilled with my deal to put it mildly! Congrats on yours as well, and also welcome to you!

Congrats guys, those are some nice cars, love the Sport Turismo

I have to back my car into the garage to be able to get in and out of it, no backup camera, just mirrors and sensors, I have been pretty impressed with how well the sensors work, take a good bit of the stress out of the problem

Great looking car! Be really careful about driving in sub-freezing temps with those summer tires, though... Your control below freezing can be frightfully bad on those things. I'd get winter tires right away, as we'll have another month or two of sub-40-degree temps routinely here in the northeast. I put my winter tires on in October, and the summers will go back on in April.

Now you see why I ditched my 2018 V90 CC for my Pan4 Sport Turismo E-Hybrid a year ago! Quite a difference...

Where in Ny?? Rockland County here. I have had a chalk hybrid for about 2 months. Sticker was $115k got 13k off plus lease incentive of $4500, then the federal and NYS rebates. Thought it was a good deal.

So far enjoying the car, wish it had acc, but took it off the lot. Not many had acc and night vision

Yeah, that was a problem with dealership cars here, too. I special-ordered mine, and added ACC and night vision, both. I've used both a lot, and they are very good. The infrared camera is mounted too low on the front of the car, however; it would be much better to put that camera up behind the rear-view mirror at the top of the windshield, for better visibility especially toward the sides; pedestrians near the car and about 5-10 yards in front of the car can't be picked up because of where the camera is located. As far as ACC is concerned, I'd never get a car without it again. It's a shame that new Toyotas and Subarus costing $30k have ACC standard, but Porsche does not. I think that night-vision cameras should be standard, too; they are quite a good safety feature.

Totally agree about the cameras and sensors, though I go nose in and back out - much easier for my overall layout. I’d be reeeeeally nervous to do it the old fashioned way, without sensors and cameras. Like some kind of animal!

Thanks and yes. Have a set coming shortly and will swap them on/off my wheels every winter. I could swap them for 8 years and still save as compared to a second set of wheels. Crazy.

So so happy too to have the V90CC in my rear view mirror!

I was very lucky to find a build so loaded. I would’ve skipped some things to save a little $ eg night vision but I’m really happy to have it!

And totally agreed about ACC. It’s now a must for me, though I wish the stalk worked like the Volvo controls - I got really used to the way that worked and am a creature of habit. Hopefully the P controls will become second nature in short order.

Yeah, I hate the cruise-control stalk on the Panamera; wish it was on the steering wheel like on Volvos. I keep flashing the bright lights with the upper stalk when I mean to hit the ACC stalk.

Heh. One drive and I did the same with my brights. I’ve been impressed btw with the way the brights automatically switch to regular when a car approaches. It reacted more quickly than I would’ve.

Your car looks great! It’s weird how much I love these cars. I quite like the regular version too. But man. The ST just wows me.

My daughters Honda clarity has standard acc. It’s a 20k Honda. Ridiculous on a $100k plus car it’s an option. Germans nickel and dime you to death. That being said I had a 2017 Nsx and it was not even an option available. Go figure

ACC suks on all cars in Atlanta. Traffic jumps in front of you and you end up going nowhere slow.

I find that, if you play with the Porsche ACC and get to understand how it works, it can work extremely well in heavy traffic and take away lots of stress and potential fatigue.

it can get a bit interesting around roundabouts though

nothing like your car suddenly accelerating towards something to get your attention
