Default porsche Panamera Fault Transmission

I parked the car in my garage at night everything was normal. When i turn on in the morning alarm message pop up Fault Transmission. Now I can't go reverse or forward. Any one have any idea what could it be?

No. I would disconnect battery for an hour and see if it resets after you reconnect.

i know this is old but i happen to be browsing for something else can came across this. I had the EXACT SAME ISSUE back in June! came home that night, the next morning i tried to start the car and that message came on. ended up towing it to the dealer and had to replace the entire transmission. cost me 12k out of pocket. 2012 panamera S with 75k miles. curious what did you do to resolve yours?
