I know there is a a space near the mirror to mount and EZ pass as they cannot see through the coating for insulated glass. I tried just right of the mirror, but no joy..........any ideas?

This shows where the glass is treated to accept the EZ Pass. You can actually see a difference in the tint of the glass in the marked locations. I have my transponder mounted without any issues... Good Luck, hope it works out.

I put my pass just under the black cutout, in middle, where it cannot be seen, it is behind mirror. Works perfect.

Do you have the Thermal and noise isolating glass? The diagram shows where to place the transponder with this option, otherwise, probably not as critical.

in Illinois we can get a transponder that mounts on the front plate frame, so no need to put a transponder in the car. That may be an option where you are as well
