Above is correct. Easy replacement. If you put trickle charger on car before you replace battery, you wont lose settings.
Look at some gel batteries. Last longer and provide more reliable power. More expensive though.

Heard the same as one comment above, that you must reset bat info as computer will keep old (wrong) data on bat condition if not updated?
