Default Best extended warranty?

The CPO warranty on my 2013 GTS expires next month. I think that an extended warranty is a good idea. My dealer recommends Fidelity for the warranty.
Any thoughts, experiences or suggestions?
Thanks!

Are you not able to purchase directly from your dealer?

My dealer recommended my extended warranty for my new Pan 4 E Hybrid through Warranty Solutions. It was less expensive than through Porsche and very comprehensive. Here is a brochure. Best of luck.

Let us know on pricing, when I purchased my 15 GTS CPO 27K Miles 7 Year Warranty was 7K, I passed and will look into a warranty prior to CPO expiring like you.

I actually work at an independent dealership and we offer customers GWC Warranty, I just priced out my car and can get a 60 Month, 75K Exclusionary Warranty with the Luxury and No Worries Just Drive Package for $3700. Could you upload the Fidelity coverage and price quote when you get it so we can compare?

Hi, thanks for your comments. Do you know if you’re independent also can offer turbo S warranty? The one I’m considering has 62K miles and 2012, and CPO is about to be expired. Would love to get a five or six years addition. Thanks in advance.

I checked and on a 2012 Turbo with 62K miles here were the options.
Comprehensive 24 Months / 26,500 Miles $4900
Essential 36 Months / 38,500 Miles $4,200
Powertrain Plus 36 Months / 38,500 Miles $3600

Those are all our costs, I'm just providing for points of reference for you. I've included a the brochure so you can see whats covered and get an idea. Hope that helps!

Does anyone do longer warranties? I’m also looking at a 2012 turbo with around 70k and would like to consider a warranty.

I just got a quote on a 2012 Panamera Turbo with 71k miles from fidelity

3 year was ~$6k
4 year was ~8k
5 year was ~11k

These aren’t cheap. Wondering if it is worth it or save $$ in rainy day repair fund.

Probably going to be difficult. I’ve never toured purchasing a warranty at a time other than when buying the car unless the factory or CPO hasn’t run out.

If if you could it would be really expensive for a higher mileage 2010, probably several thousand, and at that point what are the chances of having $6000 in repairs, Put $6000 in the bank for those little annoying things that add up. You can get used PDK transmissions and used motors if something catastrophic happens, but I feel your concern. In 4 years I’ll be thinking the same thing...

Thats literally 2x what I paid - I have Ally. I was actually told Fidelity wouldn’t cover my car since factory warranty was already up. At any rate get second or third quotes, that’s way high.

Contact Michael Jourdan at Mossy Motors in New Orleans. He can get you a discount on Fidelity. If you check on Threads on this site, you will find many on this Forum have used him. Just posted similar response to somone this morning.
