Default EZ pass transponder with insulated glass

My Pana has the insulated glass option, which is great. However, it blocks some kinds of transmission. I believe there is a spot where the EZ Pass can be mounted that is clear??..

There is an open spot you can see on each side of the rear view mirror that should work fine.

I have the Thermal and Noise Isolating Glass option but have not tested the EZ Pass functionality yet. Here is a picture that was posted on a previous thread. I hope it helps. If you look carefully from the outside at the right angle and lighting, you will see where there is a section cut out without the tint....

Mine also has thermal glass. I placed my tag just under the tip of the black part of the window in center. This way the mirror fully obstructs the tag, making it invisible inside car. Tag almost touching th he lowest edge of black protrusion. Tag works perfect every time.
