PDK fluid?
I'm a little confused on what fluid(s) are replaced in the Panny's PDK and when? The maintenance schedule for a 2012 states the PDK transmission to "change oil" at 60,000 miles. From googling around it appears that this might be the clutch oil (hydraulic oil)? But from references mainly in 911 PDK's, is there a second fluid ("transmission fluid", ie, gear oil) that needs to be replaced at 120,000 miles? The Panny's maintenance schedule only mentions manual transmission and differential fluid changes at 120K. Perhaps in the smaller, higher revving cars they have a different schedule and require replacing both.
I'm at 80,000 miles and arranging for service, and I think my car may have missed its 60K PDK oil change. Just wanted to make sure I know what I'm talking about when I contact my service advisor!
thanks!

NJS_04_996, the 970 uses a single circuit PDK, so there is only one fluid that needs changed and that is Pentosin FFL 3
you'll need 9 liters @ ~ $24 a liter @ 120k you'll need to replace the fluid and the filter...
If you want to do it yourself here is a great write up

HP41 has 2014 Panamera and I know that ciaka has used the procedure and he has a gen 1 (2010 i think) pan as well, so you should be good.
HP41 used the iCarSoft to monitor the temperature and unfortunately Durametric does not support that feature at this time (unfortunate if you have a Durametric that is)
yeah the single circuit thing threw me as well, everything I found was based around the 2 circuit PDK so I questioned it and HP41 sent a link that showed where it is stated that it is in fact a single circuit system.

2010-2013 Porsche Panamera with PDK - info:
- Yes, PDK fluid change recommendation is 60k miles
My recommendation is if you are doing rear diff at 60k (interval), why not do the front final drive with it. Once you do PDK fluid, you will have all the most vital blood of the beast refreshed.
I changed the fluid with IR thermometer - pointed at the case and once reached 40 degree C (104F), it should be filled to max (after going through all gears already few times while stopped).
I would encourage you to read a thread I have related to fill level of PDK. I know folks say do what they ask you to do, but beging an engineer, I often want to know why, not just follow instructions blindly.
I have the thread posted in other forums. Will post it up here, maybe can get additional thoughts on in here too. Thanks. Will post link once its up on here.

- Safe to replace fluid only - Pentosin FFL 3 PDK oil - up to 9 quarts fill
- Many have tested their PDK fluid (street and race owners) and say filter not necessary to change until 120k (2nd fluid change)

Main question I am addressing is - why the precision of fluid at specific temperature. Especially when FSM shows temperature variance to be 10 degree Celsius (my ambient temp was 30, change temp 40, difference of 10 deg. Celsius - same as tolerance in procedure).
Such small amount of fluid expansion in my view, will not be capable of affecting the operation. Please read and let me know on that thread what you think. Long but please bear with it. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for all the info. Turns out the dealer has confirmed the PDK fluid in my car was changed at 66K, so I don't have to worry about this for another 40,000 miles or so!
(But boy, is that 80K service expensive!!
