Default 2010 Panamera - Using Techron bottle ?

Hey all, 2010 panamera i notice sometimes quite a bit of smoke and high oil consumption, i was recommended maybe the engine needs to be cleaned and was recommended to put a bottle of techron in the fuel tank before my next gas fill up. Is this ok for a 2010 Panamera S? can i just put a bottle in before my next fill up?

Techron is supposed to help clean injectors and intake system I believe, not sure if it will help w/ high oil consumption. Have you done a search on the Nikosil lining in the cylinders to see if your car might be affected? I've heard a quart every 600 miles is "normal". I'm not too familiar w/ the specifics as my car is not affected. I sure don't think a bottle of Techron will hurt anything, but you may need two due to the size of the gas tank (per instructions on bottle). Good luck!

Both my dealers recommend
BG-44K BG-44K
at my 40,000 mile service. Same stuff as Techron but at a higher concentration. Techron is patented by Chevron. They market it to consumers. BG is licensed to market it to industry as BG-44K.

Doubt it will solve your smoking problem but it's perfectly safe for your engine.

Porsche AG says high oil consumption is within specs for 970 V8 engines. It seems to be a standard feature.
