Question

Does the 'judder' sound occur because the tires are a summer tire and the compound can't handle the cold? I have all season tires and I'm hoping this wouldn't happen.

It is due to Ackerman Steering, see the video...

Then there must be a problem with the differential. It should seamlessly adjust for the different rotation of all four wheels.
