Default Few cars with PDCC

I have been following slightly used Panamera GTS and Turbo models on Autotrader. Specifically looking for ones with PDCC. I am surprised so few cars (< 10%) have it. Is that normal?

Also do u think PDCC makes a huge difference in day to day driving? I have test driven models with and without it and found the difference noticeable. Esp the difference between a S non-PDCC and GTS with PDCC

I have a GTS with PDCC and occasionally check to see how it's retaining value compared with comparable year/models. I don't recall ever seeing PDCC on a used GTS.

I really like the handling around curves would definitely get PDCC again.

Correct, not many Panamera's optioned with PDCC (and PTV Plus). It was a $5K option. The GTS sits 10mm lower then a non-GTS, which lowers the center of gravity (and even lower CG with Air Suspension PASM in sport or sport+ mode). If you are in tune with the car, it is noticeable and makes a difference in the handling. Also, PTV Plus helps the car rotate during a turn when pushing the car. The average driver/owner would not necessarily appreciate or exploit these options.

Here is a nicely optioned 2016 GTS at a local dealer with PDCC.

I understand most drivers would not notice or use capabilities of PTV.
Is the improvement from PDCC very noticeable on GTS models?

My PGTS has PDCC, but I've not driven one without. PDCC acts as like an active anti-roll bar for body-roll in turns. On a large car and high center of gravity (more so in a Cayenne), it would be especially beneficial for people that like spirited drives on winding back roads versus interstate driving. I've really enjoyed driving our PGTS on multiple road trips and through many mountain passes of the US.

The other aspect of PDCC is that is allows the suspension on the left and right side to work independently thus improving handling (less disturbance to the sprung weight) on bumpy sections of road that are straight.

I just bought a CPO'd GTS that had been optioned with PDCC/PTV. Having test driven other Panamera's without it, I felt the difference between them for sure. I would be hard pressed to purchase or option another car without it.

I am looking for a slightly used GTS. Mainly for NA V8 with instant throttle response, the amazing sound and lower stance.

Main options include Carmine Red exterior, Alcantarra interior and PDCC. The first 2 options are few but one can find them. However, less than 2% cars have PDCC based on autotrader search. Do you think PDCC is such a great upgrade that its absence should be a deal breaker?

Its like most Porsche options, once you have it you will always want it. You will not miss what you have not experienced. So if getting PDCC is unobtainium, I would skip it.

Default PDDC & PCCB...

My 2013 GTS has PDCC, PCCB, 20k miles and a year of CPO warranty, as well as a bunch of other options. It is agate grey metallic with a black/silver GTS interior package.
Any idea what it would go for if I decided it was for sale?

Your exterior combination I think is the best. I’ve got a near identical twin.

Here is one (higher mileage) for comparison.

Default Thanks for the comparison

Higher milage
Fewer performance options (my sticker price was $137,325 before delivery, tax etc.) I am trying to see if PDCC & PCCB add resale value.

I have a 2011 Turbo with PDCC and PTV - I am very impressed, a car this size when in Sport+ suspension is almost completely flat through hard/sharp turns.

As for value - its amazing the car you can get for the dollar amount...

What's interesting about PDCC is that until the current generation of Panamera, it was a hydraulically actuated system. The new PDCC is electric, and I haven't seen any comments yet from anyone who has driven the new electric system.

I ordered it anyway -- so time will tell. My Turbo ST is due in February.
