Red S Emblems OR any other red emblems - True red? Please respond
I bought a Red "S" for my Panamera. It has a very orange hue to it so its more of a reddish orange.
For those of you that have purchased red letter emblems, are they orangeish red or more of a pure red?
If you have a real red one, it would be great if you could post your source, even if its ebay.
Would love to see a picture on your car as well.
Here is mine. Its a littel more red than this, but you can see the orange Hue to it

I bought a can of Plasti-dip and did about 8 layers of red, following the instructions on the can. I also watched a couple videos on how to apply.
I had never done anything remotely like this before, but figured I can always easily remove it if I don't like the result.
It's over 1 year since the application and it continues to look great with too many hand washes to count, plus driving in rain, plus about 35 track days.
It may have an orange hue in the photo - but it is a very deep red in person with no hints of orange whatsoever. I would have peeled it off if it looked the least bit orange - as the accents on the car are all deep red (calipers, roll cage, seat belts, stitching).
Very happy with the result. Nothing to lose except $5 and the time it took to apply.
