My most recent Porsche was a 997 GT3. It's since been traded in on a GT4, which is coming next year. So I'm all about the purist driving experience.

Recently, I was given an ND to drive. And it is awesome. This is a purist driving experience, albeit a very modest one.

No, it won't have the raw power and grip and emotional appeal of a Porsche, but if you break its experience down to the basic act of steering, braking, shifting and cornering, it is very involving and thoroughly satisfying.

What do you guys think of the newest Miata? Would you consider having one as a toy next to your garage of p-cars? What color would you get?

I want one now.

I'd love to have one but not sure my wife would agree.

Perfectly fits the adage that it's more fun to drive a slow car quickly...
