hard to believe they can extract 430 bhp out of a 3 litre without lag...something exacerbated if you pick the manual option, which i would. without 8 speeds to keep the engine on the boil, testers have noticed lag on both the new m5 and the m135 when equipped with a 6 speed. An M car without throttle response is no M car at all, in my opinion.

These are pshops for those wondering. Word is Dec 12th all the rest of the info is coming out on the M3/M4. Hopefully real pics of Yas Marina Blue will be part of it.

The great thing about the M4 is the intercooler is located up top rather than in front, and that will help reduce lag significantly vs a front mount air to air intercooler.
