Not sure if there are any old-school Mercedes guys here, but I'm helping a friend trouble shoot some AC blower fan issues on his W126 (1987 420SEL).

Most of the Mercedes forums I have found seem to be lacking in terms of technical DIY assistance. If there are any suggestions for old school Mercedes forums please let me know. Thanks.

Definitely do check out Benzworld. I still have a C126 (W126 Coupe) and there is definitely lots of information to be had over there. Not sure how the community in the W126 boards is, but in the W140 section it's a great bunch!

The w126 forum on benzworld. I had a w126 as a daily driver for almost a decade. The guys there will be able to help you. If you look around on that forum, there is a link to all the service manuals including the climate control stuff.

I've been using benzworld.com for most of the Merc stuff I've had to deal with. Now that I own a W209 I will end up there as much as I am here.
