My new 2nd car-- Lexus GS 350 AWD F-sport!
I've had a 997.2 C2S pdk for over 2 1/2 years, with nearly 40K miles now! (zero problems). I've needed a second car, and wanted AWD for Michigan winters...
I tested the 535xi, 328xi and 335xi, Audi S4, E350 4-matic, Cadillac ATS AWD, and the new Lexus GS 350 AWD F-sport.
Honestly, it wasn't even close. The Lexus was stunning. Although not the fastest, it excelled in every way-- great sporty handling (surprise!), great looks, quality of workmanship and materials, etc. It had both luxury and sport, and felt like being in a car about $20K more expensive than the rest of this group... ( btw, I didn't test the S6, Panamera, etc, because I didn't want the cost to get ridiculous...).
Btw, the sleeper of the group was the new Cadillac ATS. A sweet little sports car, but a bit pricey though....

Ha! I just started a new thread similar to this above. Congratulations on the Lexus. I too am considering the GS350 F but RWD as I am in sunny CA. How did you do on pricing? I got about 4-5K off of a 56K sticker if I decide to pull the trigger. Lexus service and support I think is better than P.

I only got $2K off sticker, leased it. Not a very good deal. But there's only one dealer in my area-- the rest are over an hour away-- and they're moving the AWD models quickly, with winter approaching.
I was seriously considering buying the upcoming 991 C4S instead....with trade-in on my 997, it would have cost me $70K net (poor trade-in value ondue my C2S997 due to accident, but no mechanical damage)-- But, for less money overall, I now have TWO great cars.

Congrats... I think the Porsche/Lexus car combo is just about perfect for a household. I drive the C2S and my wife assault the roads with her GX-470 urban war wagon. With those two vehicles we can tackle 99% of the vehicular challenges life presents.
C2S: hill country twisty's, date nights, replenishment of my soul speed
GX-470: people and grocery mover, 4 wheeler for those rare snow trips, factory outlet hauler, long distance family vacations with our boys, and Home Depot runs.
Our new car buying experience at Sewell Lexus in Dallas was exceptional. Porsche could really learn a lesson or two from them re customer sales and service. With Porsche the product is the selling point... With Lexus we got both customer service and a great product.

I'm holding out for an "LS" with the GS' SFI/DFI V6 engine (no fouled intake valves here), or even with the GS/h "engine".
Meantime my '95 LS, nearing 270,000 miles, is running just fine.

I have a Porsche\Lexus combo too and must agree, the quality of service night\day.
Congrats on the GS F-sport, i like the front bumper of the f-Sport too. I was blown away by the new GS, the interior fit\finish is stunning. The drive is surprisingly engaging for a mid-sige sedan.
I will be looking to replace my ISF with a GX in the near future for practical reasons. Depending on the next gen ISF, it might be hard to switch..especially if the stick with the V8.

Congrats hockey guy on the new purchase. Glad Lexus is adding more "sport" into their sedans. I had the previous model 2008 GS 350 AWD, and although a very good and reliable family sedan, it was so boring. Hopefully they addressed that with the new model.
I definitely like how the new GS F-sport looks...
