Default 2013 Boss 302

'Gotta Have it Green'

I haven't seen one in person yet, but so far from what I see and read - impressive.

Might have to pull the trigger on this when I get a chance.

I was at the Bear Mtn car show last week and a guy had the exact car he just picked up with 300 miles on it. It had Recaro seats, Pirelli tires, etc. I thought it was pretty cool looking. This one pictured here had the Laguna Seca package..

They're quite impressive cars. Probably the most developed chassis with a solid axle we'll ever see.

Good point ^

Yah i'm impressed, and the sound of the V8 up at 7000-8000 rpm is incredible. I'm working on a 13 Laguna Seca right now. Many dealers want 5k over MSRP so I have to hunt nationwide. I'll post photos if I get lucky.

I just got a 2013 Boss 302 #1441 paid invoice, but I'm a Ford employee. I passed on the Yellow Laguna Seca, it worked out to be 5K more. If the Laguna had been black, I would have paid up for it.

If you want at laguna, you'll probably pay over sticker, ours went for 2K over.

The Red Track Key is really cool and get the Recaro option for sure !

Laguna Seca's are a 750 car build per yr for just 2 yrs
Boss 302's are 3250 per yr for just 2 yrs

How much are they asking for a Boss or a Laguna? Just to know. Thanks.

Nice. I'm going for a black Laguna Seca right now - I have 2 dealerships at MSRP - no ADM.

The Boss 302 Laguna Seca window sticker is $49,465. I believe the Laguna Seca is a $6,995 increase on the regular Boss.

Invoice to invoice is $5000 Boss 302 to Laguna. The real benifit to the Laguna is the lower production and higher resale value if its well kept.
Suspension & cosmetics can all be installed on the Boss 302 that are on the Laguna, IF you think you need some of those items.
Get a Laguna at MSRP , if you really want one, but I got to drive a 12 Laguna before I bought the 13 BOSS and I really liked the suspension better for the roads around here on the 13.
You have 5 settings for the suspension on the BOSS and level 5 (stiffest) is level 1 on the Laguna Seca. I just didn't ALWAYS want that stiffer ride, its nice to have all the looks and nearly the same capabilities.
Very happy with the work Ford has put into the BOSS 302 program. Its a very balanced car with thought put into what would make it a very nice Mustang. I just don't understand why Brembo's are not on the rear ....

More pics.
MSRP on my BOSS was $45465, that was with the $1995 Recaro's and Helical Differential and Car Cover.
Invoice I paid was $42763.
The side pipes you can open up from the factory are awesome ! Best V8 sound from right out the sides and back.
The 'Red Key' is supposed to be a real enhancement to the car in so many ways, I haven't ordered the software for it yet.
Pretty cool a manufacture offer's a track/drag program and warranties it as well !!

Race red, nice choice. Nice pair! You should keep that 911, American and German muscle it never gets old!

I keep hearing about how good this V8 sounds. it's a real impressive engine. I have the whole list of what they did to it, taken directly from the Boss 302R program.

AED makes a tune that brings it to a 8400 rpm redline (same as the 302R) -which I may look into later though the Red Key is a really cool feature in itself.

Signing the paperwork for a Boss 302 LS on Monday, put the deposit down and car is being held for me. I'm overseas so I won't get to see it until mid October.

From your pic , looks like you have, or had a GT500 , I owned a 2011 GT500 and it was really a nice car, plenty of power with 550HP. I kinda miss the extra push into the seat from the supercharger, but the Boss just is a better balanced package.
I passed on my opportunity to buy a 13 GT500...not sure that was a good move, but I'm pretty satisfied with the Boss and saving 17K.

Well, I think you made the right choice on the Boss vs. the GT500. I have read numerous Boss 302/GT500 owners say the Boss is the one they prefer. There is one member on SVTperformance who has purchased 4 Boss 302's just to have different colors, he has only purchased 1 GT500 - he says the GT500 just doesn't have the soul the Boss does.

And you are right, that is a GT500 in my pic - still own today. It's a beast. I've got a TVS on it (same as 13' GT500) so it's pushing about 690hp and a Griggs Racing suspension (Koni Coilovers/Watts Link). I plan on putting a black Boss 302 right next to it in that garage. The 911 will then be my commuter/grocery getter for when i'm working in DC. I just can't drive boring cars! Enjoy your Boss!

690HP , wow that's got to be one of the highest HP's I've heard of from that generation GT500 !

Was that the 500HP engine stock ?
