Default New daily driver

Yesterday I picked up a new daily driver a 2012 F150. I still plan on driving the 996 on the weekends weather permitting.

It doesn't have to be just weather permitting because 996's dont melt in the rain which was proven in an earier thread, I think.

I drive the 996 in the rain. it's the snow and salt that I won't take out out in. It was raining today and I had a nice drive in the 996.

That's a nice Truck! This must eat twice as much gas than the 996, no?

Congrats

Nice rig, my daily driver is an '06 F-250 13 mpg company truck. I was told "free to burn as much gas in it as I care to" so my Targa is relegated to weekend duty.

All hail company trucks. Mine is an '08 Expedition. Could have had a longbed but it wouldn't fit in my garage. I hate scraping ice off the windshield at 5 am, so I opted for the short bed.

Same policy on gas, not to mention the "exciting" drive to and from downtown Denver. My C4 and I rendevouz after working hours.

Gas is paid for by work so I 'm not worried about the mileage. It does get better mileage than the 7.3 diesel that my old truck plus the cost of fuel is cheaper
