Anyone got an E63?
Thinking of trading in my Acura on one. Like some feedback on them especially the fun factor vs the cost of ownership (besides what you paid for the vehicle).
Thanks

It's an 'Other Marque Discussion'.
Makes sense to me. My only issue is that they don't man-up and add a post before they move a thread.
Find an e63 forum out there if you are serious.

Are you thinking about the current body E63 or the previous (sorry, don't keep up on MB chassis designations)? The new E63 is supposedly a big improvement in handling over the previous (2007-2008) model.
That said, the older car is still one of their best looking sedans.

I have a 2007. One of the best cars I have ever owned to drive. DO NOT buy one without an extended warranty. Had two big problems transmission and camshaft with less than 50K miles if had not had the extended warranty would have been a disaster $$$. Incredibly fun to drive!

My wife drives an '08 E63. Bought it with 20k miles and now have 35k miles on it. It has been trouble free and the kids love the roar! I love the paddle shifters. Based on stories heard elsewhere, suggest you get the extended warranty. It's a must.
